FAQ

WHAT IS A SUPER BILL?

A super bill is a statement that you can submit to your insurance company to request partial reimbursement for the services you paid for out of pocket. You can contact your insurance company to find out how much they reimburse for therapy when it is provided by an out-of-network provider.

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER THERAPY?

I accept Lyra Health and Partnership (as Primary only).  If you aren't covered by one of these plans, you will be expected to pay my standard fee.  I can provide you with a statement (called a super bill) which you can submit to your insurance for possible partial reimbursement.

WHAT IF I HAVE ANOTHER TYPE OF INSURANCE IN ADDITION TO PARTNERSHIP?

I do not accept clients who have Partnership as a secondary insurance and another type of insurance as primary.

DO YOU HAVE EVENING OR AFTER-SCHOOL HOURS?

My office hours are Monday through Friday 9-2:30.

DO YOU OFFER COUPLES COUNSELING?

I do not specialize in couples counseling.

WILL MY CHILD'S OTHER PARENT NEED TO CONSENT IN ORDER FOR ME TO ENROLL MY CHILD IN THERAPY?
